Need Help with navigation Screen

I have a TomTom Go 300. When Im on the normal screen, like that shows the route your on and stuff, i try to zoom in and out. Everytime I do, in about 10 seconds it takes me back to like a set distant away from the road. Ill zoom in all the way and then it magically backs me out. Same with zooming out, it will take me back to the location it wants to be at. How do i fix this?

Afraid you can't.
I think in the very early days of the software only versions (Navigator 3 or something), it DID do what you, and lots of other people, want; but they took out the feature.
The Go range have always behaved like this, and there's nothing you can do about it.

One thing you can try is using "browse map" and using the blue arrow button to centre the display on your location. You can then zoom in or out and it will stay at that level. The big problem with that though, is that you will constantly drive off the edge of the display, it won't automatically re-centre you..
