Another Beginner

I have Navman F20 with installed uk maps. Cant see anywhere if there is a facility to update this mapping without buying a fresh sd card which seems a bit expensive for an update. Navman site not very helpful in this respect. I have connectivity software and cable to connect to pc. Also is there a way on this unit to turn off the irritating bleeping that indicates I am exceeding 70 mph?

The maps are expensive for all Sat Nav. There are no free updates or cheap ones either.

Unless Navman change the way they sell maps for this device, you're stuck with buying them on a new card, I guess.

As for the speed alert, alter it here:-

Preferences, Navigation, Safety Alerts, Audio or Visual (or both).

Remove ticks as necessary.

You can also set the speed at which alerts show or sound.
