Is there any hidden cancel function in Symbian phones?

Hi,

TT6.01
Is there a way to cancel "Navigate to" command on Symbian phones?
When I close TT and reopen it, the task remains still active.
Only after switching phone on/off ends the navigate to task.

It's really annoying to switch phone on/off each time.
... I'm sure that I have missed something essential.

Bring the TomTom menu up, then press right, and you should see 'Clear Route'
