Please help me!

i have a garmin nuvi 300 GPS. I have lost all the maps! i think i accecidently deleted them! when i go to 'where to?' and go to a destination i see 'no map data avaliable' to make things worse i do not have my installation disc either - i lost it! my mate installed this for me before, but hes gone to new zealand and i have no idea how to get these maps back on my GPS. All i have is the GPS itself with the serial number on the back....Can any1 help me?

i dont know what youd like us to do the only thing you would have to do is get the map data from garmin or email you mate in new zeland and see if he has a copy on his hard drive unless you have a backup on your pc the just copy the contents to the sd card.. other than that its back to gramin and to get a a map disc

How much are they...???

i found a program called TrackAustralia, put that on my GPS. but it dosen't show streets. just main roads....will getting one from garmin solve this??
