ov2 files and speed cameras HELP !!!!!

I have Nav 6 running on a spv m5000. I have down loaded speed cameras from TT and they don't show !! Also I cannot get ov2 files to transfer from my desk top to my pda I have tried direct to the memory card ie: the gb map but no joy.. Please can help me with this if possible in as simple as possible !!!! Many thanks in advance

Pop the memory card out and make sure the write protection tab is NOT set to the lock position this prevents data being written to the card.

Which speed camera database download are you trying to use? - the one for TomTom Home or the ov2 file set, the later is the one you want, unzip the download, copy the files to the map folder on your memory card then configure the warnings (Change Preferences/ Manage POI/ Warn When Near POI) - do the configuration for each camera file you have installed.

One other thought how many other POI files have you got installed to the device? - count up the number of files ending with the file extension .ov2 in your map folder, your limit is 100 exceeding this value can cause problems whith adding POI files and the software not being capable of seeing them - Mike
