is the little black and yellow circle spinning in gps config page if so you just have to be patient and preferably outside to get a signal _________________ ipaq 4150 on powered cradle with tt6

i'm new to this stuff, but is it possible you have chosen the wrong GPS reciever on startup/configuration of the TomTom
i had similar experience when i install TT5 on my Medion MDPNA250 T MD96800.. i know their different, just making sure it's not a simple solution _________________ ~«ø§{*}I{420}{greenleaf}{420}I{*}§ø»~ |

Nay, If you view the GPS status page in TomTom (where the yellow/ Blue disk is spinning) do any grey bars appear at the bottom of the screen indicating signal strength?
If not have you used any other software on the device that communicates with the GPS device? - it could be the receiver is outputting its data in SiRF protocol which TomTom cannot understand, it must use NMEA data format for the TT application to use the data.
I posted some instructions on switching from SiRF mode to NMEA mode a while ago, they can be found Here - Mike |
