Garmin c550 & Garmin safety camera updates

Hi

I don't think this question has been asked before, at least i haven't seen it whilst going through the forums.

When i first got the c550 i used the free 3 months subscription to the Garmin safety camera database. This has now expired and i intend to subscribe to PGPS, as this seems to be a good database.

My question is how do i remove the garmin safety cameras from the unit, as i don't won't to have duplicate camera sites on my maps? Or will the Pocket GPS safety camera database automatically remove all the old Garmin safety camera info?

is there an option under 'proximity alerts' to turn off the cyclops database? it won't remove the files but it will stop the warnings

Hi,

I have now turned the poximity alerts off, which i presume will stop the warning beep. However, will this remove the actual picture of the cameras from the map or will i still end up will duplicate camera symbols at every camera location when i install pcket GPS database?
