Further to earlier post, I tried to download POI edi and still failed. The only other thing I tried then was to disable the Win XP firewall.

I think Norton Anti Virus has intercepted it but Dave please check the source of this link

http://www.dnote.nl/pda/poi/PoiEdit/files/PoiEdit_v26.exe is a valid download link, direct from the author's web site.

I've just downloaded it, and the installer works fine. It scans as clear of viruses using the 21 January 2004 definitions (the latest currently being provided via LiveUpdate) in Norton AntiVirus 2003 Professional.

If you've got problems, clear your browser cache (in Internet Explorer, Tools->Internet Options, and press the Delete Files... button on the General tab) and try again.

Blum, Blaster propagates not via email but via ports on your PC, so if you shut down your firewall then you are suseptible to all kinds of viruses that are now using IP ports, and this is where you would receive it from.

I have Norton 2004 AV and re-downloaded the latest version yesterday without any problems.
