I want to get downloads at my convenience, not automatcally. How can I disable permanently the auto seek updates function

Related question. How can I use CM on a speedcam dbase I already downloaded?. I am not sure what the correct sequence - invoke poi loader first or invoke CM first. Please clarify.

Finally, how can I suppress the overspeed warnings? I only want an approach bong.

Sorry if questions already buried in 20 pages on this forum but I did try looking!

Only way to do that would be to remove Camera Manager - it's not required for 'normal' use - it's a third party app by a member of this forum. That way you can download at your leisure and use POILoader to load the POIs to the 660. I believe you have to delete the application from your PC - there is no automatic removal process.

You can't supress the overspeed bong. If you don't like the repeated sound then either lift right foot a little - or remove the offending camera type(s) and suffer the potential consequense Smile

And there was me thinking that having something done for you automatically was more convenient than doing it yourself manually... Laughing

If you don't want to use Camera Manager, then just quit the program - it really is as simple as that.

Actually you can suppress the overspeed warning by using (wait for it...) Camera Manager, and setting the overspeed warning time to 0s.

Many apologies - didn't know it could do that!
