Garmin Street Pilot v9 Maps update problem

Hi,

I recently got a Streetpilot i3 which came with the v8 maps and a voucher in the box that allowed me to order the v9 maps.

Having gone through Garmin's seemingly over complicated codes system I was sent a CD with the City Navigator NT Europe v9 software on.

I followed the instructions, using the unlock code on the way, and expected it to upgrade the maps on my unit. It didn't!

Instead it installed some Mapsource software on my PC which seems to want me to select some maps and copy them to my i3. When I try to do this it says the maps are not unlocked for my SatNav and if I copy them over the unit stops working.

Has anyone any ideas as I am still waiting for a Garmin support response?
