Street Pilot i3 speed alerts

You will have to bear with me as im new at this
I have had a street pilot i3 for 6 months and from day one it has given me silly 19,25 and 39mph speed alerts have mailed Garmin tec have tried hard resets downloaded new software from Garmin but still keep getting the alerts can sombody please help me.
