Varying alert distances on i3

Can anyone please tell me why does the i3/POI loader set proximity alerts to 52.8 * the alert speed, when there is an alert speed specified.

e.g. 30 * 52.8 = 1585ft
40 * 52.8 = 2113ft

I'm viewing these in the custom POI menu on the device.

When there is no alert speed specified in the file, it alerts me correctly at the distance I specify in the POI loader manual mode.

I'm using firmware 3.40 and POI loader 2.4.1.

If my arithmetic is right that is a uniform 36 seconds before you hit the POI if you are travelling at the alert speed ! Seems sensible that your alert distance should be greater if you are travelling faster.

It would be good if the distance was 52.8 times your ACTUAL speed rather than alert speed.
