Hi to you all,
After upgrading my IPAQ3950 to PPC2003 from 2002 I reloaded my Tom Tom v2 software and then the upgrade to TTv5.

The problem I have now is that the GPS icon in the programs list of the ipaq "when I tap it to configure the the TT mouse antenna to com port 3 " comes up with an error box saying that it cannot find TomTom GPS or one of its componants and to make sure the path and filename are correctand all rquired libraries are available.

how do I find out where its gone, I installed TomTom to its default locations as promted whenI reinstalled it all.

Many Thanks

Mac

When using TomTom version 5 you do not use the seperate GPS program to set-up the device, instead go to Change Preferences/ Show GPS Status then hit the configure button, it is in this area that you specify the comm port, baud rate etc.
Make sure the GPS driver for the earlier version is not running though as it could be hogging the comm port - start/ settings/ system Tab_Memory_Running Programs and if its listed stop it before launching navigator five - Mike

Hi Mike,
Many thanks for your quick reply. Using my 230v to 12v car adapter gizmo I've just connected up my IPAQ to the TomTom gps antenna and carried out your instructions and hey presto its working ...I've got a lock on to 4 satellites...brilliant

Many Thanks Mike
