Hi - I'm new to this but... every time I try to 'save to device' I'm told there's not enough memory to store the speed camera files. Yet on my Navman smartset software I'm told I've got 2.2gb of 3.8gb of memory available! As aesult, I fail to transfer the speed cameras every time.
Thanks,
Jonty Any idea what the problem might be? |

I'm having the same problem with my Pin 570. I've emailed Navman and will post there reply as soon as I get it. There customer help file say that the program needs a minimum of 8mb of program memory to run plus 10% of the map size. If the map is 240mb, thats 8mb plus 10% of 240 = 32mb. Considering how much memory you device has got, this doesn't seem an issue here. Watch this space! |

Hi. Since my initial posting I contacted Navman & they couldn't understand why this was happening. I posted my 550 back so they could check it out & put speed cameras on for me. They decided to replace the unit & sent me a new 550, but.... they hadn't put cameras on as promised! Have had exactly the same probs with the new 550 and have returned the new 550! I await the return of the 550. I can only guess it's the software that's at fault. Although the returned unit will have cameras on it, this doesn't solve the problem long-term though, as I assume I'll have the exactly the same probs when trying to update the files. |
