Garmin nuvi 610T

Hi everyone just got a Garmin nuvi 610T but disappointed with map detail. On box it shows some areas in green (parks+ fields) but my 610T just shows white background.Is that how it should be? I have got map detail set as high as it will go.Any advice much appreciated

It certainly should show some areas as green, but they are normally areas marked on all maps as parkland, not just any old field. Whereabouts are you looking?

I live in East Yorkshire but travelling down to Hull from Bridlington and passing the Hull East Park it was just a white background no green at all on the map for the park or fields I passed.

Hi MaFt if I zoom out to the main map I can see Lake District,Yorkshire Moors parts of Devon and Wales and other places green.What disappoints me
is that the illustration on the nuvi610T box shows the background spaces between roads in a very light green I do not mean fields and parks but mine is like looking at a white fluorescent bulb with no colour to the background of the map.I would like to know if there is any way to change the white to the same colour as shown on the box.I have the brightness set to 30%.
