Map versions

I know there are umpteen threads going on about this, with tons of messages in each, but it's because there are so many that I can't find the answer I'm looking for, and was hoping that someone could point me in the right direction...

Are my maps the latest version, and if not, what is the latest version?

My signature below lists my setup.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The reason all these threads turn into epics is because the simple one-line answer isn't the full story. There are very few differences between v6.5 and 6.6 maps, and TomTom do not recommend you waste your money on upgrading.

If you go to the TomTom map page on their website (http://www.tomtom.com/products/maps/) and enter your present map's product code in the box on the right, it will tell you whether they think it is worth it.

But of course if YOUR particular area of interest HAS changed, then you might want to upgrade anyway. All you can do in that case is ask people here to check a specific area on their map before you buy.
