tt6 ver 6 speed camera up date

Just updated the speed camera database from here and applied the additional data file.
I am getting a voice now when Iam getting close to a speed camera saying pocket gps word.
I used to get a high pitched bleep. I am woundering if this is right. I used the tom tom file update from here and the correct poi data file for version 6.000
am I doing anything wrong or do I need re set poi file in some way? thanks Phil

It seems you used to use the built-in Warning Sounds, and now you have installed the PGPSW Data.chk File.

If so, you have 2 choices.

1. Use the original data.chk File that came with the software. You should be able to find this on your original Backup, or on the CD that came with the Software.

2. Use the data.chk File you downloaded, and go into Warn When Near to set up a different, although still spoken, Warning.

Hi THanks for that. I have Just found the change settings in the poi.
Is there anywhere on this forum which explains how to set the speed camera poi as I may have juplicated by ticking too many boxes when I set the tt6 various speed cameras.
eg best setting for distance prior to gatso in 30mph or which speed camera boxes need to be ticked and which should be off

Just ignore the part that refers to Text To Speech, as this is 910 specific.

The distance for Warnings is near the bottom of the page.;)
