Medion GoPal 465 vs. Tom tom/Garmin/Route 66

Hi

Seen a few news storys for the Medion 465 just wondered what everyone thought of it.

I've looked on Medion shop and it sounds really good along with the computer active review.

I've been looking at getting my first Sat nav.

the features I'd like are:
TMC
Saftey camera warnings (preferably mobile ones too)
And obviously decent maps and GPS.

I've also considered:

TomTom Go510 (with TMC module)
Garmin Nuvo 310D (intergrated TMC)
Route 66 Chicago 7000 pro

So basically what I'm asking is how does the Medion compare to others on the market, and which would you recommend (and why!)

I've been watching out for some replies on this because if I was buying I'd probably be looking at the same units.

If the TMC function is important the Garmin has this integrated. My Medion PNA 350 has a module with a wire attached to the screen by suckers. I'm not keen on setting this up and I can't find anything saying that the Medion 465 is any different.

I'd be tempted to go for the Garmin. I wasn't sure about its antenna but have found a reference to its being SirffStar III which is the best available. I doubt that you could go far wrong with any of these though.
