Has anyone had problems with the desktop side of the live communications.
When I click on the Live icon on the desktop, at the top of the screen it says 'not connected' and the communication icons are greyed out. My broadband internet connection is active. Am I missing something simple here? |

Have you enabled 'live' on the PPC and ensured it can access the internet over GPRS? _________________ Darren Griffin |

Yes Live is enabled on PPC and 'connected'
I am wandering if it is my Norton firewall. There was something about this on the ALK faqs. |

It's quite possible, Norton is usually fairly restrictive on outbound connections where other firewalls like ZoneAlarm you can customise them more. |

Thanks I have manged to configure Norton to allow port 9877 as suggested in the faqs and it has worked. I am now connected to the CoPilot Live network.
GPRS now causing trouble... but thats another problem! |
