It seems there are hundreds of bluetooth GPS receivers to choose from. I need to narrow this down.

What does the channel count mean to me? I've seen receivers with 12, 16, 20, and 32 channels. Will more channels give me better reception in canyons, or is this just a marketing gimmick?

What's the difference between the MediaTek MT3 chipset and the SiRF Star III chipset?

Some SiRF Star 3 chipsets are claimed to be "low power" consuming, while others SiRF Star 3's are not said to be low power using. Do all SiRF Star 3 chips consume the same amount of power, or is it just some of them that are low power?

To answer one of my own questions, the MediaTek MT3 chipset is better than the SiRF Star III.

I'm also getting the impression that the number of channels is directly proportional to sensitivity.. but I'm not 100% on that.

I've found that what I want does not exist: I would like a bluetooth GPS data logger with better sensitivity than -152dbm.
