I've got myself into a bit of a mess !

Got V9 Maps from Ebay and used a code which came with software.
Ebay guy ignoring me !

Its wiped all V8 maps and I cannot access any maps other than A roads and the I3 is showing no Mapsource.

Probably going to have to Ring Garmin 2morrow.

But is there anyway to restore to orginal state.

I have done Hard Reset and Backed up a card from a friend but still the same, Any ideas please........

Lost and Stranded !!

Not sure you'll get much help from Garmin since, as far as I know, legal maps are only available from them.

the 's' part of sd stands for secure - i.e. it won't let you copy map files from another card. its one of the few anti-piracy measures that appears to work!

best bet would be to contact garmin and see what they say.
