Warnings on/off route.

Is it possible to set up camera databases in two different map folders, and use different parameters for each. I have in mind using an up to date map with the cameras set to warn on route, for when I have routes set up, but using an old map with them set to warn at all times, for when I'm just driving around without a route set. That way, all I have to do is switch maps, instead of changing the "warn on route" for 25 different camera types. If I'm not using the old mapping for navigation, it doesn't matter if it's out of date - the POIs should still appear where they're supposed to.

i think the 'warn on route' is a standard setting what ever map you use....

Better late than never..
I just tried it and can confirm you are able to have "Warn only on route" set ON in one map and OFF in another.

So if you just drive around without warn on route set, and no route active, do you get speed camera warnings?

But you get them for adjacent roads etc. too Crying or Very sad

like andy said you might be doing 70 mph on a motorway and then the tomtom will warn you of a speed limit of 30 mph on a road running parallel to the motorway..

The real solution is for the warn on route setting to be ignored if there is no route, but I guess there is no way to make it do this.
