Hi,

Newbie here...... so forgive me if this a really stupid question -

Is it possible to simply drive around with the TT One working, whilst not actually trying to direct you to a destination??

95 percent of the miles I do in this country, I know how to get to where I want to go anyway... however I would like to have the TT One running with this sites excellent speed camera database running.

At the moment, I am having to put in any old destination and then turn off the volume (as it gets really annoying being told to `turn round` all the time!) However, it sort of defeats the whole speed camera warning idea if the audio part of the system is switched off.

Cheers

From the main menu, tap right arrow to find the 'Clear Route' option.

If this is not a visible, use Change Preferences, tap right arrow to find 'Show ALL Menu options', then do procedure above.

But be aware that if you have the POI camera warnings set to "Warn only when on Route", you won't get ANY warnings when you don't have a route set like this.

Other option

Download and choose silent voice

Select the route to your true destination. Warnings to cams will still be given but no direction commands.

The latter. It is always dangerous to tick 'only on route'. I take the view that it is better to get a few red-herrings (adjacent roads, etc.) than not to get one that you need! 8O

That's putting it WAY to strongly!
I ALWAYS have it ticked. You just have to be aware of the advantages and disadvantages inherent in BOTH options.
