I was allowed a free update for my c340 which know posseses the city navigator v9 :D but i wanted to know if my 2620 was also eligeble for a free update?
i have e-mailed garmin, but they are taking a lot of time to answer
Any ideas?

I got a free update for my nuvi 360. After updating the nuvi 30 I phoned Garmin to ask about using the v9 maps on my i3 . The said it was permissable and asked for the Serial Number. They then gave me an Unlock Code to use for the i3 . I now have v9 maps on my 18 month old i3 for free. |

Yes, I have just bought the unlock code for v9 maps, and I saw that it is permissible to run the maps on two devices

You don't state what version of mapping you used to upgrade the StreetPilot c340 with. I don't think it will work if you used the NT version of v9 maps.
Based on Garmin's Mapsource compatibility table the StreetPilot c340 uses the NT version of maps while the StreetPilot 2620 uses non-NT version. You can use non-NT on both machines but it doesn't appear to work the other way round. |
