GlobalSat BC-337 with Acer N50

Has anyone received the error listed below, with this combination:

'Unrecognized Card
Enter the name of the device driver for this card. For information, see the card manufacturers documentation.'

I have a ticket raised with GlobalSat, but wondered if anyone had an existing fix. PDA is running pocket pc 2003 se.

This may be a silly question, but do you have the GPS card in backwards. With the N50 you should do (!) as the CF socket on the N50 is reversed, so the GPS needs to be inserted with the GPS 'lump' facing away from you.

It does state this in the manual, BTW, but not very prominently!
