GARMIN NUVI 310

I'VE JUST DECIDED TO SUBSCIBE, HAVING HAD THE CAMERA DATABASE PUT ONTO MY GARMIN NUVI 310 WHEN I BOUGHT IT. FOR THOSE OF US LESS TECHNICALLY MINDED, CAN YOU EXPLAIN HOW I GET THESE UPDATES ONTO MY SAT NAV. I HAVE ALREADY DOWNLOADED GARMINS POI LOADER ONTO MY COMPUTER. I HAVE DELETED THE OLD FILE FROM THE UNIT AND THINK I HAVE PUT THE NEW ONES THERE, BUT THERE SEEMS TO BE NO WAY OF CHECKING IF I HAVE DONE IT CORRECTLY.

Welcome to the forum, to check if the POI are installed on your unit please try the following:
Power up the 310,
Select Where To?/ My Locations/ Custom POIs within this list should be pocketsgps_uk_........ the last bit will depend upon which database you have downloaded from this site and installed to your device. Mike

Hi, Happy New Year to all, I have a Nuvi 300 and have downloaded the POI loader and the PGPSW-Speed-Cams zipped file but the POI loader is stating that the file contains no CSV extension, any idea what i am dooing wrong, thanks

Have you unzipped the download before pointing the POILoader at your camera database - Mike
