help from australia

hi all
i have bought a tomtom rider in australia and have the australia maps etc and have bought another map(uk) for when i come back ,the activation screen does not come up after i have put in the sd card to enter the code
i have the product code ,device code ,activation code
any body got any ideas as i am i bit of a dummy on things like this

well the temps has been 35 so not coming back just yet ,i am coming back to the uk for the isle of man tt racing and my mums 60th birthday and the bmf then its back home so just need the gps for then

Is the GB map on a seperate SD card or installed to the same as your OZ map.

If loaded on same ( OZ map ) Sd card, change maps from the Preferences menus. If it needs activating, it'll ask.....

If seperate ( new ) SD card, does it load & work? ( No worries ! )
Or does it give you the WSOD? ( White Screen of Death ).
Actually, its a white screen with a picture & of an SD with a cross thru it.....but that's not important right now.

Tap the bottom right of the screen, ( sat strength bar ), the Details ( bottom left ). Does it show GB map is running?

If all else fails, post the info about your maps from that screen. ie.. name & version number of the map.
