POI's - Images and accuracies

A couple of questions here from a newbie:

1) Who creates the bitmap images which are used for the POI locations? If we create a new category can we supply our own image? Also what if we think we can improve an image?!?!

2) I am being picky when I update a POI and move it's location? Some POI's look as if they have just been dumped on the Post Code location and not properly located. Some are only out by 50 to 200 metres. I mean you could be sat where you Sat Nav is telling you it should be and could see the correct location down the street but I correct these if I know they are wrong. So am I being picky or helpful by making them more accurate?

I have modified/made my own in Windows Paintbrush, mainly because I was having difficulty in seeing the relevant camera speed on my Navman icn530... worked a treat!
