1. Preview mode seems only to work in real time. Any way to speed it up.

2. Mapsource has the facility to block various roads or areas. Can I transfer these blocks to my C510?

3. What are the preset driving speeds built in to the C510 software for calculating arrival time? They don't seem to allow for tarffic lights on the route and vehicle type makes little difference to time. I rather suspect that "emergency" will allow travel the wrong way up a one way street but haven't tested that!

Set it to the right vehicle, and leave it a couple of weeks of use. The unit will slowly adjust the average road speeds for different road types to match your driving style.

I always thought that, but apparently (in the UK at least) the emergency services would rarely (if ever) do this.

Thanks, Swing. Interesting that the techies at Garmin did not know about answer 3, nor could they tell me the preset speeds! Certainly experience suggested that it learns your driving style!
