It's actually trying to click on the + sign which is playing up rather than just downloading an entire group. |

I wasn't downloading a group. I had expanded them to the locate the single POI sets within. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Hi UsuallyLost. Did the Tolls POI come to fruition (I have searched but can't locate it)?
I can help with the Spanish & French tolls in my area if you would like.

What is the best way to bulk upload new POI's.? (Assuming you would like them, that is!).
I am making a .csv file covering some of the many Motorway, Tunnel and Bridge Toll locations in Spain, France and Portugal. The list has about 30 locations at the moment, by the time I finish, I expect it be about 50 locations, maybe more. I tried uploading locations individually but I couldn't get the submissions map to render properly/quickly (probably due to a poor internet connection) so I started making a list of them until conditions improved.
Please advise, should I carry on with my list or start again?

From the 'Submit a POI File' link on the POI page:
Quote: |
Submit a POI file
Email any new POI files to POIs@pocketgpsworld.com suggesting names for the Category and Subcategory to be used. Remember that all submitted files must be free of any copyright restrictions. Text files in the following format are preferred |

Following a couple of posts a few months ago about French/Spanish/Etc. police forces waiting at European motorway toll booths to carry out average speed checks I submitted a POI file with about 150 motorway toll booth locations in Spain, Portugal and France. These locations do not appear to have been included on the Free POI database pages yet. However, an individual location I submitted just a few days ago is included already. Just wondering if you recieved the original file? or should I re-submit it? _________________ Garmin Nuvi 2599

In my past experience a multiple file does take considerably longer to input than single submissions which used to worry me that they had been missed, but with fairness to Richard and from past postsI think that he likes to check thru the entries to ensure some corectness, _________________ Moto G5s Plus, Sygic 17.4.8 |

Thanks for the advice aj2052. As you say, the details are probably being confirmed before being made available. _________________ Garmin Nuvi 2599

The TomTom option works fine but either nothing happens when CSV is selected or it switches to ToTom. I am using the latest version of IE 8 with medium security and Java script enabled. I tried it two weeks ago with the same problem and just again a couple of times. |

This should allow one of us to reproduce your problem. You mention IE8, I'd suggest forcing IE7 compatibility for this site and trying again. _________________ Jock
