Having just downloaded the.csv versions of POIs for the United States I am somewhat under whelmed. Several of the files contained just one entry, Airports, Parking, Holiday Inn to name but three. Others contain hundreds of entries, Sears, Bed Bath & Beyond and Borders being very good in this respect. Obviously the more POI's submitted by users the better the lists so get out there and submit some POI's. |

All previous POIs put to Map folder register straight away when you select "enable POIs" but the new PGPSW suffixed ones don't? Some change needed? |

Working here using IE7, do you have any firewall software installed? Have you tried the "Show Link" box option? _________________ Darren Griffin |

Nothing we have done in changing the logos and images on the site affects the operation of it or the POIs. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Well, selecting a catagory just opens a new (blank) page for me.
follow up...Unless it was faulty & now fixed, by turning off my Ad Muncher, it now works OK
and now.....it works even with my Ad Muncher on...wierd! |

Perhaps you should consider that blocking ads is rather selfish? I'm not attacking you personally but direct these comments at everyone who is happy to use the many forums available on the web but chooses to block ads.
I can understand the desire to block annoying pop-up or pop-under ads but we don't employ any such nefarious ad tactics.
Forums such as this are run without charge and provide free access to the resources and help within as well as these FREE POIs.
The ads bring in revenue that helps to fund the site costs, hosting and development.
If everyone were to block ads then we would not have the funds necessary to provide these services and the end result would be they'd dissappear.
There is a worrying and growing assumption that if its on the internet it ought to be free, that can only be the case if income is generated in other ways. You can't have your bread buttered both sides.
Whilst I sympathise with download issues, where they are caused by ad-blockers then you're on your own I'm afraid. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I would understand your argument, if the Ad adplacers played fair, but on some sites you can be happily be reading an article and suddenly faced with an Ad popup placed totally over the article, this can be so frustrating,I am not directing this at this site, becuse to be fair it does not seem to allow this, and it does seem prevalent on some IP sites. _________________ Moto G5s Plus, Sygic 17.4.8 |

As I say, even with my ad blocker switched off, it's playing up again.
Just asking if someone could please check as I'm pretty sure it's not my system at fault (but would be willing to be proved wrong) |

Juts tested by downloading the community/museum POI and it has downloaded fine on my Mac. I'll switch to XP and test there. _________________ Darren Griffin |

We see you’re using an ad-blocker. We’re fine with that and won’t stop you visiting the site.
Have you considered making a donation towards website running costs?. Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!
