I bought my missus the c510 from currys as a xmass present ,she opened it xmass day and was delighted but the bloody thing won't work I just get the screen displaying a computer and satnav connected when I connect it to my pc, it won't stay on if I switch it on by itself, tried to reset it but still the same anyone got any ideas please??? |

if it dont do what it says in the instructions ,take it back a get a refund or a new one...or better still get a tomtom :D _________________ *************************** |

thanks for the advice but this is a last ditch attempt before I take it back and I have a c320 which is great so wanted to stick to garmin so we could share maps |

How much did you pay for the c510 ?It was £199 now it's down to £149 in Currys but I just bought the C510D with traffic / europe maps etc for £199 from Halfords. If you paid the higher price then definitely worth taking back and getting upgraded model from Halfords.

Hi and thanks for the reply
Yes I got it for £150.00, and I left it connected to the pc last night and it seems the battery needed a good charge as its working now 8O
as stated above I own a c320 and its great which I paid £200 for but got a ac charger and ciggy socket charger and the instructions said to fully charge first but the c510 said nothing like it needed charging first.
so you get the traffic extra for free with the c510deluxe model do you, the c510 has the option for traffic but you need to puchase an attachement of some sort to receive the signal. My missus was borrowing or lending I should said mine to go shopping and friends houses but now she doesn't need to lend mine
