Hello.
What is the latest Navman unit equivalent to the TomTom Go510 in the £294 price range? and is it as good?

Not sure whether it's an equivalent but Maplin are selling the 550 for around £185 and you can get £15 discount off that. 4 Mb hard drive, European maps etc.

The 550 is an old unit which only laster for a year or so. It will accept a TMC module (not the T1, but one made only for the 550) but the maps are old, the app is old and the GPRS is old, too. The N40i is around £250 discounted (Pipeline card holders get it for £225, apparently) and the N60i is around £400. Both have full EU maps and a built in camera and are compatible with Navman's T1 TMC module, but neither of them will link to a mobile for hands-free calling, etc..

I've used an N40i and it's easy to use and fits into a breast pocket easily.

The best to go for is the N40i with european mapping, speed cameras and intergrated digital camera, uk tech support
