Is it possible to find out what exactly has been changed on a UK map when TomTom announce that they are available?
I would hate to pay for an update only to discover that there were no updates/corrections for the areas where I travel.

The new maps came out on 28th November (not that you'd know - Tom Tom's promised newsletter doesn't seem to have hit the stands yet!!), just a quiet mention in their website.
Who knows how up to date they are? I've found a few extra roads. You could try asking for kind folk to look for something for you if they've got time and the new map for YOUR particular satnav model (they do vary somewhat between models).

Thanks for your response.
The maps I will be using are for a TTGO510.
To ease the pain of paying for a map download that proves useless, am I able to use this map on SWMBO TTGo500 so we've both got the same maps??

No you can only install the maps to a single device, to upgrade both your Go's you would need to puchase two updates.

Tom Tom say the x10 series maps are the latest available, so you'd be daft to buy the current map for yours.
Like xda says, you have to pay for the 500 update map. (Incidentally, I believe it would jigger something if you tried to use - illegally - the one map on two machines)
