As far as I can see there is no way....but maybe someone else can suggest. If you use the Navman (in my case 750) away from car it routes assuming you are a car, tried it in Bruges when we got lost walking around, it did get me back eventually but wasn't happy when I went wrong way up one way street etc,and then route indicated was longer than needed when you can go direct, any suggestions as to a route setting.

It is useful just as a map but I think some other brands of GPS do have a on foot setting, there's an idea for Navman, shouldn't be too difficult ?

With Navman iCNs, the clue is in the model designation. iCN stands for in-Car Navigation.
