navman stret maps of spain

hi all, newbie to all this sat nav stuff and just bought a navman N20,
im off to Spain next year in the car and im looking for street level maps for the N20, e-mailed Navman but no reply after 8 days and also been on there web site but no maps for the N20

any ideas

My N20 had the Europe street maps included. Are you sure they're not on the cds supplied with the unit??

I think that initial sales had a 'bonus' of getting the European street level maps free, but only for a certain length of time.

sorry for being a bit of a noob but how do you tell if the street maps are included on the disk

The N20 is supplies with 4 cds, 1 application installer and 3 map cd`s.
All the N-series have acess to full european mapping.

you will need to purchase a seporate SD card to store the map on there.

Install smartST- connect navman to pc via usb in back of pc- click tools recover registration information from navman- insert 1st map cd ( at this point spainshould change colour on the smart st screen) click on spanish regions (they will go solid colour now) then on the left click on add to icn sd
any problems call navman on 01293 780500

Yes, I stand corrected. The original Press Release (and I have it in front of me) said that the full maps would be supplied on CD but that only the 'region' ones would be activated for the device and the rest could be unlocked online, at a charge, but that for a limited time they could be unlocked free.

Navman then decided that it would be more cost effective to include the full unlock as part of the package, so all N20s should come with the full Western Europe maps unlocked. Sorry for the confusion I may have caused.

Thanks for that Tim. I've been searching all over the net to ascertain how long the "limited time offer" lasted. Initially, I only required UK mapping but it now transpires that we're off to France next year and I was in a panic to get an SD card to install the relevant maps before the offer expired.

i have just added spain to my N20, does anyone know if the street maps installed as in discription on my smartst is has spain and spain country files

is that it or is there another one for street maps
