Put them back, otherwise you might download them again when you reconnect the 700. Mind you, they might be the same files as the ones you've just downloaded...... _________________ Tim |

My first computer had 640Kb RAM and 20Mb hard disk and TWO five and a quarter inch 360K floppy drives which all kept me stunningly happy for two years |
Phew!! High Tech!! Hard Disk & only 5.25 Floppies...that was a considerable upgrade in 1984. I loved my twin Winchesters when we got 'em......the old twin 8" floppy IBM monster we used to compile C to assembler was a behemoth. |

Winchesters!!??
When I were a lad we had to book a year ahead to visit the computer. It was on two floors and you were allowed one game of noughts and crosses.
...and we had no tea and got up in morning before we went to bed... _________________ TTGO 700 (dead)

Bed. You were lucky. We 'ad ter sleep standin' up 'uddled together in t'corner of oppen pit face.....etc...etc...
Guess it was a bit Four Yorkshiremen of me but I had to tip a nod of fond nostalgia towards DennisN 'cos I don't often have cause to think back to 'when I were a lad', probably because it wasn't all that long ago.
Can I at least say 'Eee, them wer' t'days..." without jocular reprisal!
BTW. Does anyone need a tabletop CNC Spark Eroder? |
