Garmin 310d tmc update

For anyone who struggles with Garmin's tmc updates apparently according to the nice man at garmin they have now confirmed the fault was the incar lighter power charger.

If you have a power lead with amber / green LED (depending on charging status) it is the wrong one.

Basically the lead produces too much magnetic interference to allow the TMC aerial to pick up signals.
They are sending me one FOC so in a week or 2 i should be able to confirm if this is true.
