After updating my 1005 Live to the latest navcore version 12.035 I have lost the Common Favourite facility. It has retained the icons associated with the favourites but not the collection.
Has anyone else had the same issue or have I done something to cause the problem. An e-mail to Tom Tom support seams to suggest that they are aware of this as an issue, as they say that no updates to this facility were included in the release, but the updates will be forthcoming. Whatever that implies.

When you say "Common Favourites" do you mean the "Favourite destinations"?
Those are the ones that you can set up in the menus (Settings/Start up/Ask for a destination/ Answer "yes" to the question about regular trips).

Yes those are the ones that I mean. However, on the previous release I could view these even if I changed my device settings to "Continue where I left off"; which was my normal default setting so that I could break my journey, and take my device out of the car, without having to re-programme my device. Post 12.035 if I choose "Continue where I left off" the frequent destinations no longer appear. I've tried a soft reset and I still have the same issue.
I am at a loss to undertsnad why this facility has changed.

My understanding is that 'Continue where I left off' refers to the screen you were on at shutdown, not the function the unit was performing at the time.

Yes it would appear that that is the case. I have been playing around a bit with split jourmeys over that last two days and you are correct.
I still don't understand why the favourite destinations now only works with this set up though. Unless of course by some freak of the system I had a facility that I should not have had and the new NAVCORE has removed it.
What would be really nice is if anyone out there has had the facility before the upgrade and has also lost it post upgrade. Unfortunately so far I have had no replies.
