Questions on c310x before modding.

I am a newbie, and I would like your help to answer my questions:

1. How can I backup the whole c310x system after I unlock c310x? Is there a way to go back to whatever settings that come with c310x? Somebody mentioned in some threads that I can go back to the original settings by doing a hard reset?

If I change the map software, do I need to reload mio map software back to go back to the original setting?

2. Is TTS (text to speech) a part of map software or hardware? I have a map pocket software, pocketmap navigator that can do TTS. Can I use the software on c310x? I have the license of the software.

I just want to try if TTS can work on c310x.

3. Do you know other map software that have TTS capability that can be used on c310x.
