MioMap Updater problems :(

Cant seem to get miomap updater to work for me, im a new c710 US version owner and want to upgrade to 3.2

when i run the updater i get a error message saying 'cannot connect to your device. Install mio usb driver and connect your device before start updater'

I have downloaded the usb driver from their website but dont know how to install it manually.. but ive also installed mio sync, mio transfer etc and those seem to work fine as well as active sync..

anyone able to help me with this?

his C710 has a different system installed and he'd love to install MioMap

i'm sure that if you have MioMap software for a C710 in the US he'd love to know

i haven't repeated the update process often enough to be confident in giving proper technical help like you

also i'd noticed that there was 1 US user desperately trying to find out about a US version of v3.2 and then another US user popped up with an installation problem so i tried at least to make them aware of each other

ive downloaded a copy of miomap 3.2(igo im assuming) with US maps and license keys etc but not sure how to install it even if i were to put it on an SD card. wouldnt i need to hack my c710 and run it from the 'desktop' of windows CE?

1-Pak het MioMap_v3.2_pda_91maps.rar bestand uit.

2-Verwijder eventuele maps die je niet nodig hebt b.v. \MioMap\maps\Italy.fbl etc. etc. dit als je b.v. geen 1 GB SD kaart hebt, maar een 512 MB of minder.

3-Kopieer de rest naar een SD kaart.

4-Installeer MioMap 3.2 of door de PDA uit en aan te zetten (autorun) of door setup.exe dubbel te klikken.

5-Volg de instructies op het scherm.

6-Starten met die MioMap!

-De License file voor de huidige mappen staat in de directory ' MioMap ' en is direct actief. (license.db)

-In de map ' Extra Maps ' zitten extra landen en licentie files.(deze mag je ook wissen als je ze niet nodig vind)
