Updating the i3 unit

When you do a simulated route whats the difference between saying yes or no when it asks you 'do you want to simulate driving this route?

Can you update the places of interest NOT in custom points. eg fuel, tube stations etc that are on the official garmin list? i.e. updating it on the garmin website or are these pois updated in the firmware version updates?


If i subscribe for the speed camera updates is there a choice between each camera type all in one file with one icon and also in a format where there is a camera seperatly for each speed limit e.g. 40 50 60. Which format is better and the one most people choose? thank you

4) I see that on the Garmin UK website u have to subscribe now to access the download page. Is there any really good stuff on the UK website to download or do you guys just use the US website for downloads still? Thanks.

1) if you select yes it will simulate the route, if you say no it won't

2) the built in poi's are stored with the maps. i.e. you update the maps it updates the poi's

3) yes there are various formats for the downloads. personl preference really

4) garmin.com is where you go for the updates and downloads. the uk site, before they changed it, used to link to this anyway
