Sony NV-U81T

Has anyone got a clue when the Sony NV-U81T is due for release? Most websites seem to say Novemeber but we are now half way through it and I cant find any more specific dates or 'pre order' sites.

Seems to be out in Germany and Italy, but I found something last week on the web saying mid-December for the rest of Europe, don't ask me where now.

To be honest, I think they may have missed the boat here. Traffic enabled kit with your own pois (speed cameras) is available from £250 now, and the U81T is knocking on double that.

Unless there's a radical change from the U50/70 (I know the interface is updated) you won't get your own pois or speed cameras on it easily either. There's certainly no mention of that ability in the press release.

I think the "pressure sensors" feature isn't a hugely wonderful thing for many of us, although I can appreciate the point of it in the middle of cities. And the "gesture" to go home or whatever is kind of interesting but not worth an extra £250 to me!
