I use my original Garmin eMap as a GPS reciever for TomTom software. One of the most useful features of the eMap was the ability to find motorway junctions, it would seem a great idea to me to add this feature to TomTom. I also use a traffic master for traffic info and often want to 'skip' one or two junstions on the motorway, the ability to set a junction number as a destination would be a great help. Does anyone know if this can be done with TomTom? If not does anyone think it would be useful as a POI databse?

Yes dam right it would be useful. I'not sre how you would get all the co-ords for the Junctions but yes I would definately use it as a POI if it was available

All you have to do is go into the TomTom map move along the motorway and add each junction as a POI. You will need to take care that the point you select on the junction is accesible from any direction, ie not on an exit slip road otherwise you won't find it coming the other way.

Alternatively if you know the latitude and longitude you could use a tool such as POI Edit to create a database.

Autoroute uses motorway junctions and has several points at each junction.

No doubt lots of people will want such a database, but will hope for someone else to create it as it would be time consuming.
