Map Update on Palm TX

Hallo,
i tried to update map on my SD card using the following step:

1) Completely Delete of Italian map subdirectory on SD card;
2) Copy from CDROM to SD Card of new italian map directory;
3) Copy of POI files from old map directory to new one;

Doing this, everything works fine but....i lost "my favourite" i added on my old map

Does anyone knows if it is possible to move them on the new map subdirectory?
Is there any files where "My favourites" are registered?

From the backup of your old map folder (you did keep a backup, right? ), you should find a file called "mapsettings.cfg". Copy this to your new map folder and your old favourites, home location and other goodies should be restored.

Yes, i did a backup but inside there wasn't any file named *.cfg

The only file dated recently is "traffic.inc" and its size is 1Kb.

I took a look in all folders in the SD card but i didn't find any file as you suggested
