I have purchased the software from tomtom, however i need a gps solution for my ipaq (h4355), it doesnt necessarily need to be a bluetooth solution but there doesnt seem to be any other way to plug in a bluetooth receiver. (i remember my old ipaq had like a CF port on the bottom)...

is all gps devices bluetooth or not compatible with tomtom or does it need to be a gps deviced purchased exclusively through tomtom?

Your device can accept SDIO devices which is the small memory card slot in the top of the unit, but to be honest I would go down the Bluetooth GPS Receiver.
If you intend using the GPS with TomTom software you can use practically any GPS unit, these days check the spec and get one that is SiRF-III - they just work better when in demanding conditions - Mike

i just read a review that here that said:

http://www.pocketpcreviews.net/content/view/47/67/

There's a lot to like about the Qstarz BT-Q810 GPS Receiver.

• Great battery life -- at least 16 hours
• Great sensitivity -- on a par or better than the SiRFstarIII at -158dBm
• WAAS & Egnos
• Well priced at 89 US dollars

on par or better? true or just a slight overexageration?
