Don't understand how to load speed cameras on to new TT1

I am probably really thick but is there anyone who can tell me, in laymans' terms, how to load the speed cameras on to my TT1 (I have read the guide on here but that is no help). I have downloaded the Speed camera database onto my PC, I have then extracted the files using Winzip. The guide on here then tells me to copy the files, but my PC won't let me open any of the extracted files- what have I done wrong?
