I know i am probably being dumb. Have just bought an I3 for 80 pounds and am trying to load the speed cameras on. I follow all the instructions on the web site until i get to the point where it asks me to choose i file to download. I am not sure which one to go for, there are 5 differnt files to down load. Sorry if this has been answered else where. Is it best just to stick with the Garmin poi loader or should i use somthing else. very confused.Tom

Tom,

I have a nuvi and previously owned an i3.

I have used both of these camera files with success:-

UK POILoader i3,nuvi etc.

UK Speed Zoned Complete (24 files)

The latter will display the speed warnings slightly differently on the nuvi and I prefer this version. I think that should be able to use this with your i3.

Download to a suitable location on your pc and unzip.

You can then use the Garmin POI loader to transfer the unzipped data to your i3 using your USB link cable.

You may find, as I did, that there was insufficient spare room on the in built i3 memory to allow a large number of files to be uploaded, and I had to load to a micro SD using a card reader and then fit this to the i3.

Give it a go and see how you get on.

A
