Dear all

I have an ipaq 3970 with tom tom 5.2 installed.i have paired my gps receiver with the ipaq and it seems to be paired succesfully

when used with the tom tom software after connecting gps reciever (connect ssp slave) etc but tom tom not connecting via com 8 or com 7
Bluetooth serial ports

Has anyone encountered this problem and what did you do to resolve it

what settings have you put in to tom tom you should be using other bluetooth gps receiver baud rate 38400 and think its com 8 but could be wrong on that this is done in the gps set up screen in the tomtom application

all the setting are as you sugest, set up using other bluetoth gps, but how do you set up the baud rate,
i have an earlier ipaq that this software works on satisfactory and the setting have been set up the same on both machines the only difference being the operating software mobile 2002 and 2003

sorry that was me thing about using the wierd option you shouold just selct the comport

in bluetooth manager in the ipaq connect the gps then start tomtom and set th receiver up for other bluetooth it may be that you need to manually connect the gps before starting tomtom
