TT5 and Voice

I tried to re-install this on myOLD PDA after the system had not been used for a while and had gone completely dead (Jornada 565) and I NOW have NO voice's at all. They are installed and worked perfectly last July, but when i TEST them and try to run the software I can NOT hear them. All other Audio on the device works fine. Any help please !!!

place the voice files (.vif and .chk) into the program folder.
